  • Account details such as your name, email address, encrypted password, plan level, and account preferences.
  • Content you create in Aurella, including recipes, notes, comments, community posts, dietary tags, and shopping lists.
  • Technical and usage information such as device type, browser, approximate location, pages viewed, actions taken in the app, and basic diagnostic logs.
  • Billing information handled through Stripe, including Stripe customer identifiers, subscription status, invoice history, and limited payment metadata. Aurella does not store full card numbers.

  • To create and secure your account.
  • To save recipes, community activity, shopping lists, and other data connected to your profile.
  • To improve Aurella features, performance, moderation, and customer support.
  • To manage subscriptions, detect fraud, and maintain billing records.
  • To measure product usage, campaign performance, and feature adoption.

Sharing and service providers

Aurella shares information only where needed to run the service. This includes infrastructure providers, analytics tools, customer support tools, and Stripe for payments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or during a business transfer such as a sale or merger.

Community and public content

If you choose to make a recipe or comment public, that content may be visible to other users and may appear on public-facing Aurella pages. Please avoid posting private or sensitive information in public content.

Data retention

We keep account and app data for as long as needed to provide Aurella, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. Some records may remain in backups or billing systems for a limited time after deletion.

Your choices

  • You can update account details inside Aurella or through support.
  • You can cancel paid plans through Stripe's billing portal where available.
  • You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal and billing retention requirements.

Security

Aurella uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including password hashing, secured sessions, and restricted access to production systems. No system can guarantee absolute security, so you should also use a strong, unique password.

Children

Aurella is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Aurella evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the product.
