Data Collection Disclosure

Effective date: 4 June 2026

This page gives a direct summary of the main data categories Aurella collects and why they matter to the service.

Accounts

Aurella collects your name, email address, encrypted password, plan type, and account settings so you can sign in, save work, and manage billing.

Recipes and saved content

Aurella stores recipes, ingredients, shopping lists, notes, comments, and community activity so your content stays attached to your account and can appear where you choose to share it.

Comments and community activity

Public comments, forks, shared recipes, and moderation events may be stored and reviewed to keep community features working and reduce abuse.

Analytics

Aurella may collect usage information such as page visits, clicks, device type, browser details, referral source, and feature engagement to understand what is working and improve the product.

Payments

Aurella uses Stripe for payment processing. We store limited billing metadata such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, and payment status. Full card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by Aurella.

Ads and attribution

If Aurella runs paid ads or creator campaigns, we may collect campaign tags, referral identifiers, and conversion metrics to understand which promotion brought a user to the platform.

How data may be used

  • To provide account access and save your content.
  • To improve recipes, planning, shopping, and community features.
  • To measure growth, retention, and campaign performance.
  • To maintain billing, fraud prevention, moderation, and security.

Your visibility choices

Some content can stay private and some can be shared publicly. If you mark a recipe or post as public, other users may be able to view it. Keep sensitive information out of public content.
